Kay Crewdson is doing the Breakfast weather from Leeds this week which is unusual, she's made occasional appearances on Look North Leeds at weekends but not usually in the studio.

I think Kay is based in Leeds rather than Hull.

A couple of small points of note - they seemed to be having autocue problems on the Friday 8pm update from Leeds and unfortunately the printed script was just the right colour to disappear into the CSO background.

The Saturday lunchtime bulletin nearly didn't happen according to Twitter - the fire alarm went off during rehearsal and they only got back to the studio with a minute to transmission.

With the return of Kay (who went off to Media City) to Leeds, I wonder if they now have the Leeds weather hub presenters ready for when it's ready to start as part of implementing DQF?

Fuzzy sound on BBC One, I assume its Leeds, the two dots appeared during Pointless and the News.

yeah happened when Leeds soft opted. On DTT they abruptly cut to the Hull headlines but didn't appear to on satellite.

Sorted for the 6.15 headlines - suspect following a hasty sound desk reboot.

Can anyone explain why Clare "Gonnabe" Frisbee sits at a jaunty angle in the mornings?
Has she got a faulty chair?
It's just that the other presenters face the camera square on.

She isn't sat in a chair - she's on a sofa! I don't think she's normally sat oddly but I did notice she was this morning. Don't rate her as a Breakfast presenter either, very very rushed and probably far better as lunchtime/6:30 cover like she was back in the old days.

A wise decision by Look North Yorkshire to have Paul Hudson do the weather live so that's it's up to date in light of the flood risks around the region - nice little touches that make a service like Look North a lot better.

I wonder if Hull's forecast was recorded later in the evening as well then
