The Yorkshire torch relay special was nicely done, practically the entire presenting team was in force, and they opted back in cleanly at the end.

A benefit of Calendar covering a larger region tonight, meaning they can still continue with the feel good Olympic Torch OBs for a few more days. Look North Leeds however had to mention how the torch has now left our region (Before briefly returning via Chesterfield on Friday).

Yep the BBC will be an all out sports channel from a few weeks ago to well into August. Just in time for the Football season to start and no doubt a tiddly winks contest in Istanbul that the BBC just have to follow.
It would be nice if they could say that BBC2 would be a no Sport zone, but that's not going to happen.
In other news, who is the new face presenting Look 'Ull tonight with Peter Levy live in Lincoln?
That's not necessarily a benefit - plenty of people are sick of it by now

Well we are ten minutes into Parkinson, sorry Peter Levy, and not one bit of 'news' for the area, just propaganda for the Olympic Games. The background noise is also very distracting.
The full B-team on Look North Yorkshire tonight. Amy Garcia and Phil Bodmer presenting, with Keeley Donovan on the weather. It's rare Christa has days off from presenting, and quite rare that Keeley does the main program too!
