Look North Yorkshire is coming live from the Leeds Canal tonight with Christa and Phil, celebrating the arrival of the swan boat that two Radio Leeds presenters have pedalled from Liverpool (ish) for Sport Relief. Paul is there for the weather too. Seems an odd decision to have the whole team there, but there you go!
Tom Ingall is in the studio for 'other news' which seems odd considering he's not a regular relief anyway (commuting from Sheffield). Is Kay Crewdson covering the East Yorkshire weather?
The show is a bit all over the place really. Viewers outside of the Radio Leeds area will be a bit bemused at who the two people actually are!
I think they are a bit short staffed as Amanda was on Breakfast, Charlotte on Radio Leeds breakfast and Phil is standing in for Harry, so Tom was probably the only one available.

No, we in EY&L had our local Grimsby girl, Keeley Donovan. A change from Lisa who usually seems to do a lot of Friday evenings
Look North are currently covering the Bradford West Bi-election which has brought out all the big political names as you would expect.
There was a report following the Labour campaign and then Phil just said for a list of the other candidates see the website. I thought there was a rule in this situation that the full list of candidates should then be shown on screen, generally as a fairly plain static slide. Calendar have been doing this, anyone know the official rule?

Pretty sure the "look on the website" message has been used for a couple of years or so now, so assume the rules have changed or allow this in the first place

So long as other candidates are referenced then it's fine - it's just alerting people to the fact that they can vote for someone else other than the main parties. You may find they do show the other candidates standing from time to time but have taken the decision not to do it every time.
