Surprised as I wasn't expecting it to be filled when I am sure I have heard about cuts across regional weather forecasters - or at least more sharing at weekends. So either no Hull based forecaster or Keeley to move back to her local area and fill the role

Look North has always been very keen on the importance of weather, we were the first region to get live breakfast forecasts weren't we?

There's never been a Hull based forecaster, it's the reason Look North Hull has the weather in the middle of the show instead of at the end. It's always been a video link from Leeds.

So who is Sarah Cruddas and why does she present the breakfast (and other) bulletins in the Hull studio?

You'll find there is a weather presenter live in the Hull studio occasionally on the Breakfast bulletins only.

Sarah did her final week on Breakfast from Hull.

Sorry you are incorrect - as noted by other posters. Sarah Cruddas was Hull based - did the Breakfast weather for TV and Radio Humberside and BBC Lincs.

A rare outing - in fact possibly the first time? - of Sarah Burton on the late Look North EY&L.

Have only ever seen her on breakfast bulletins

Maybe trialling some new people - understand there is a mini baby boom in newsroom there. Think Anne Marie Tasker is looking pregnant. Not sure if any others are? Think Emma Massey and another who I can picture but cant rememebr her name is on maternity

It was Nik Wood's last main Look North tonight. How do you think he has done?

Do we think he will now disappear without trace never to be mentioned again or maybe he will stay around appearing from time to time as Harry's holiday cover?

Long distance OB on tonight's Look North. Christa was in the studio, Harry was outside the front of the building in the wind. Strangely they left Harry there all programme as if he really was miles away and left Christa to do the rest of it herself!

He mentioned leaving for Australia after Look North so might vanish forever - but I do hope he returns at some point, I thought he was excellent cover for Harry, did a very good job.

He's in Australia for a few months so may be back - though Phil Bodmer is due to return after Christmas so the male presenter shortage isn't quite so bad!
