I doubt she'll be replaced formerly, Genelle Aldred left BBC Midlands and Kaye Forster (now freelance) left SET and their shifts have been replaced either by freelancers or by cover from the Weather Centre.

I think it's more realistic Leeds will cover her shifts until DQF's hubs spring into action.

To be honest Hull is done so downmarket I'm surprised there isn't a glove puppet presenting. Strong words there.

Careful young man - think of the mortgage...

Sarah has been on attachment several times of late and covered the last shuttle for GNS I think. Obviously science and space is her real passion so good on her. I assume Keeley and Lisa will cover from Leeds on TV and poss on radio though often get John Kettley covering breakfast forecasts on BBC Lincs and Humberside. Not sure how far the cuts in DQF could break up Leeds forecasting team (who are the strongest of any region that I have seen)

Sarah was with GNS for the final shuttle launch. Part of her role continues when she works at Childrens which is to go into schools to teach kids about science for BBC Learning, in addition to being part of science programmes and guesting on shows like BP for example.

John Kettley also covers BBC London 94.9 radio weather bulletins at the weekend.

Nicola Rees with late Look North again on Thursday, probably because Christa was ill as was mentioned on Friday when Tanya Arnold presented the programme.

Weekend bulletins seem to have a new system where the same person does Friday late, Saturday & Sunday bulletins, seems to be Amanda & Charlotte alternating every other week.

Phil Bodmer recalled back from national news for one day to co-host Look North tonight because Nik is having a day off. I wonder how long it is before the return of Harry Gration?

yes maybe, or maybe she is bound to fill her duties and had to do the weekend news, or others are off for half term and she agreed to fill in? Sad news though Jimmy was a character

No, Christa never does the weekend news - and Nicola Rees said she was doing the weekend evening news on Twitter. To be honest I don't think she'll have been best pleased!
