The Digital Roadshows were also stating that only BBC 2 was moving first to digital and the remainder would move on the 21st. Not such a big deal, but I'm curious to know how this mis-information happened.
It just makes radio and tv reports look wrong.
That's useful to know. DigitalUK really seem to be a waste of space when it comes to communicating with the public.
As mentioned on his Twitter today, Harry Gration's just come out of hospital following an operation. He's thanked the hospital staff, his colleagues for visiting him and viewers for their well-wishers, and he's commented he's not sure when he's back on screen.
I hope I speak on behalf of all of TVF to wish Harry all the best, and a safe and healthy recovery.
Ian White's report from Emley moor was a triumph - technically accurate, with the YTV start up in the background and a glimpse of Test Card W. Excellent work!

Also on Twitter he mentioned something about 'his replacement being lined up' and the editor mentioned Harry would be back 'in a few weeks' so I wonder if there's another man coming in for a bit? They've only really got Phil (and occasionally Tom) now Ian White's been taken off presenting.
Nik was certainly presenting Business Breakfast in the mid 90s, and he was the location reporter for Working Lunch for many years. (Think he left TV for a while to work in the legal world?)
He returned to take over from Adrian Chiles on Working Lunch when Adrian moved to present The One Show in 2007, but Nik was replaced by Declan and Naga when the show relaunched.
Nik Wood made his debut yesterday on Look North - today they're doing rather flustered coverage of the mining incident, and bizarrely Nik has now moved up the sofa and Christa is talking to him about the mining incident like a reporter!
EDIT: They've moved onto other stories now and Nik is back presenting as is normal.
Not seen Look North, but watching back on +1, Calendar certainly provided strong coverage of the BAE job cuts in Brough story this evening, intergrated wonderfully into Ben Erlam's report from the Labour conference in Liverpool - as well as handling what was then the breaking developments from Kellingley; even getting an on-the-scene report by the end of the show.
