Me either Andrew - I imagine we'll be seeing more Harry on the lates than Christa
I've got to feel sorry for Ian - it's clear he really liked working at Look North and he was forced out, rather than choosing to. He said on Twitter he's not sure what he'll be doing next, just 'hopefully something I will enjoy'.
Huge loss to Look North as a whole. I think they've undervalued him for a while now. He hasn't presented on the main show for a while. Phil Bodmer is Harrys in now and is nowhere near as good a presenter as Ian.
AIUI Ian not only presented the late bulletin, but also produced it too, choosing the stories and running order etc. I can't see Christa doing this somehow...
Hope to see Ian back soon, a really nice genuine guy and professional too.
I have a horrible feeling they're shooting themselves in the foot because of public perception. I guess to somebody who doesn't know what they're talking about it could look extravagant having a separate late presenter, but that overlooks the work Ian does producing behind the scenes, and of course how useful it is having a safe pair of hands readily available to be on standby in the studio when the main programme is an OB.
I just hope that they can find something to keep Ian busy and interested, to lose somebody as versatile as him would be a disaster.
In terms of Christa and Harry producing, they've both got the journalistic credentials for it. She's the ex News Editor of Radio Aire and he's the ex Radio Leeds Sports Editor.

I know her credentials, I just think with her Diva attitude, she'll think it beneath her. I know from someone who was interviewed by Christa how she's gone all Ron Burgundy.
It is very odd. All the testing was that the core presenters of Look North - including Ian - went down well with the public and a lot of the variation on air in terms of presentation (with camera angles, use of the big screen) were down to Ian (just look at the 3pm bulletin to see the sort of techniques he likes to use). I find the decision very bizarre.
Maybe he's still doing all that behind the scenes but not presenting as his hybrid role doesn't fit into a standard staffing plan that has come down from on high?
Of course in Y&L Look North we still do have a separate presenter for 1025 bulletin
The 1025 presenter usually does the lunchtime and 8pm bulletins as well though
Apart from 8pm of late has been trialling some god damn awful girls - Kate Sweeting and Gemma Dillon. The former did breakfast bulletins this week. Sickly sweet.
