I thought in Yorkshire we only had the recorded news round up bit in the middle, the start of the programme is live for everyone (although the headlines would be recorded in any case), unlike Tyne Tees/Border etc.
Those headlines did seem odd, especially with the picture of the hit and run victim stuck on screen for ages at the start.

That was a surprise but alas Ian didn't seem to be doing as much as he once used too! He hasn't presented the main programme with Christa in over a year.

Sounds like it wasn't Ian's idea...

Very sad not to be presenting @BBCLookNorth anymore but when boss says it is time for a change so be it.

Maybe they are scrapping the separate late bulletin reader job like Calendar did as part of cut backs?

We can confirm that Ian White will no longer present our 10.25pm bulletin. We would like to thank Ian for the tremendous amount of hard work he has put into the programme over the past 13 years. Ian will continue to work on BBC Look North and- in line with many other BBC regional news programmes- in future our 6:30pm presenters will anchor the 10:25pm news.

It'll be similar to Calendar's system then, with one presenter doing the lunchtime, both doing the evening program, and the other doing the late bulletin.

I can't imagine Christa liking that idea.
It will presumably also mean Harry will do the 8pm update sometimes, which is a lot different than initially when the bulletin was the preserve of young females in many other regions.
If he is staying at Look North, I'm sure he'll keep appearing, just like Tom Ingall does.
