I'm sure I just heard Katy Fawcett from ITV Central reporting for Calendar. Does anyone know, is this another month-long presenter swap like Kate Fisher from ITV Tyne Tees and a male reporter from Central (does anyone remember who?) And if so - who's gone to Central in the swap?

Can't say I saw - but quite feasible that the report was in the Mansfield / Chesterfield area? If so could be on both?
Nice to see Tina Gelder presenting the main Calendar tonight - not my favourite presenter but the female presenter is very rarely anyone other than Christine Talbot or Kate Walby.

And Kate Walby is just so annoying to me

Can someone answer me a question about the new Look North Studio?
Is the newroom behind Harry and Christa real, or is it just a green screen?
It's real - if you're wondering how they change the backdrop, they have panels to stick over the sections of backdrop so that shows like Late Kick Off, The Politics Show and The Super League Show can be filmed in there.

Thanks for that - it does look real, that's for putting my mind at rest. I had hoped that the new studio would see the return of the desk, alas not, but it's still a big improvement on the last studio.
It is, yeah - a desk would have fitted in the studio fine, and it's a shame they still use pretty much the same angles as before in Look North as the studio is a similar shape, but the studio is used way better with more standing up and use of the screen - and an extra piece of sofa is normally moved in for the sport so the presenter is sat in front of the screen, and the sport graphics can be seen behind, if not they are stood up at the screen.
The sofas are much easier to move around too so the studio can be used for other programs, the The Super League Show and Late Kick Off would not fit on a desk. The lighting is miles better too - and it looks very nice in all the programs it uses - for such a small space it's surprisingly versatile.
When you say it's real, I guess it's worth clarifying that you mean it's not virtual/CSO. It's not a real newsroom, just a picture of a fake one with some clever lighting to animate the screens a bit.
