I imagine he means the frosted swirls over the backdrop?

ah right.

They don't dominate as such. The set appears on camera much the same as it does in reality, except the projector looks better on camera.

Unless Hudson's got a clause in his contract to ensure there are no close-ups which would indicate he is indeed small of stature...

Paul isn't particularly small (as is jested by mr Levy - 'small Paul'). He is infact about 2 inches taller than peter!.

But Peter Levy is only about 5 foot odd Smile

well, I'm 6'0", and I'm certainly not towering above him when I speak to him. I'd put him at about 5-8 or 5-9, and paul at about 5-10

In the absence of the annual Regional News Christmas Trees thread, I'll note here that Look North Leeds have put theirs up.

Saw the new look for the first time yesterday; looks a lot better than the old panels but the studio looks absolutely tiny! I think a desk would have made it look smaller still, so I'm glad they've gone for a coffee table.

It's a really tatty looking affair though isn't it?

Paul Hudson with the weather during Breakfast Look North this morning, not everyday that happens!

Also a bit different, Ian White did Lunchtime Look North (with Lisa)

I can only remember that happening once - back in the days of Peter Levy at Woodhouse Lane. I think they discovered that bantering doesn't work when it's self-op!

Odd to see the lunchtime Look North today being presented by Clare Frisby, but also like a breakfast bulletin - with the clock on the astons and travel and road updates.

Still, it's great to see Clare away from the breakfast bulletins, she deserves to cover the main Look North more and keep Tanya Arnold on the sport instead.

Phil Bodmer with the Boxing Day Look North and strangely they had a weather presenter on duty in the form of Keeley Donovan.

Good to see many of the festive bulletins presented by Anne-Marie Tasker on Look North Hull. I remember her from Calendar's short lived Pick of the Week style prgramme on a Sunday lunchtime which she presented.

Been with LN Hull for a year or so as a reporter
