Does '' Freesat / Freesat from Sky / Sky TV '' offer the channel '' ITV1 Yorkshire East '' ?

Can I access this channel on the digital satellite platform ?

Is this channel available without a viewing card ?

Can this channel be added manually etc ?

I don't think the East Yorkshire variant is FTA, it was moved to Astra 2B and encrypted a couple of years ago. However it's no great loss, the Yorkshire "West" version is FTA on Astra 2D - the only difference is the adverts now, as far as I'm aware.

ITV1 Yorkshire East is free-to-view, so you need a viewing card for Sky or Freesat from Sky, and you can't get it on Freesat.

Look North's Children in Need OB is hosted by Amy Garcia with Alex Bellfield, not exactly the same standard as when main host Peter Levy used to do it.

And in East Yorks & Lincs its Caroline Bilton (nee Davis) in Skegness

Although better than the year that the OB was a cock up and we ended up with Harry and Christa in the Look North studio (with a different backdrop instead of the Leeds roof camera as I recall) for the first couple of opts!

Politics Show Y&L is currently making do with Look Hull's studio whilst Leeds has theirs fixed up
