That's because when a London forecast is used it's a pan-regional forecast for the whole of Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, as it was also shown on Look North Hull.
Susan Powell covering the weather on Look North, that's an odd sight. The angles of the region are always different from London too, it's strange..

Look North have 4 ? Midlands Today only have 3 regulars(Shefali, Genelle & Ben) to play with a 'once in a blue moon' appearence from Simon Keeling.
At least one morning a week MT has a London forecaster, with the rest of the breakfast shifts split between Ben & Genelle while Shefali does Monday to Thursday evenings on the forecasts & Sunday nights on the news with either Ben or Genelle doing the weather.
How often do you get a London forecaster in LN land?

4 shared between Leeds and Hull - Paul Hudson, Lisa Gallagher and Keeley Donovan in Leeds, Sarah Cruddas in Hull.
The usual set up is Lisa doing Breakfast in Leeds, Sarah doing Breakfast in Hull, and Paul doing lunch, the 6.30 and pre-recorded late for both.
Keeley tends to cover breakfast when Lisa deputises for Paul. She also frequently does Saturday, presenting the news in Leeds as well as doing the weather for both (Hull pre-rec). Sunday is often Paul.
In general, Sarah tends to only pop up in Emley territory at the weekends.

Generally only during Breakfast on Bank Holiday Monday or at Christmas, which is why an appearance yesterday was unheard of.
Doesn't using a London presenter in the Midlands as a regular thing cause problems on local radio, as the breakfast presenter will provide forecasts (both formal as part of the bulletin and a chatty weather bit) on BBC WM etc?
Back to Look North, if Sarah Cruddas is off, does the Leeds breakfast weather presenter cover both and therefore have to provide inserts into all 5 local radio stations on her own as well? (although I suppose BBC Lincolnshire may be covered by whoever does the weather on BBC East Midlands Today?)

I admit I don't know about the local radio arrangement during the week as I'm normally out of the house by 7am plus I watch the telly thesedays rather than listen to the radio at breakfast, apart from the odd Saturday when either Ben or Genelle talk to the WM Saturday Breakfast presenter(normally Mollie, but I don't listen every week as she did my head in when she was on Earlys!)

Usually get John Kettley on BBC Lincolnshire and I think Radio Humberside. He lives in the area and I think does forecasts from home

I think he lives in a village called Saxilby which is North West of Lincoln. He's certainly been seen at the train station on his way into Lincoln.

Rare weekday evening outing for Sarah Cruddas tonight. She did both late Look North forecasts out of Hull (as she was live in studio at 6.45).
