Wow, it's a while since Danny Savage has presented on Radio Leeds - used to be the regular stand in for Ian Timms on Newswatch (the drivetime show) at one time.

Good to hear that Kelner's back in the fold at Radio Leeds, I'll have to hit iPlayer!

Interesting that Phil Bodmer is still on the main Look North all this week, even though Ian is back.

Its been quite a while now since Ian has presented the main edition with Christa. Cant understand it myself as he is far superior to Phil Bodmer and the programme has many more giggles than with Harry.

Meanwhile on ITV1, John Shires has been let out of his cupboard and was hosting Calendar Monday to Wednesday this week which was interesting

Kerrie has been doing the weather and Gaynor has even made an appearance, doing 'Calendar's Funny Kids' half term OBs

Wetwang has been removed from the weathermap - is the Mayor losing his influence? The following is from an email to a colleague...
'Wetwang enjoyed a good spell in the weather spotlight, we decided it was time to ring the changes and give Driffield a place on the map, as a major centre in East Yorkshire'
Looks like the May elections in Wetwang may see the unseating of Mr Hudson Very Happy

Was that Lisa Walton on Calender earlier? Her voice and intonation is awful - up and down

Is Sheffield still on that map? Haven't seen LNH recently.

A high production values edition of the late Look North Leeds tonight, with Ian White starting the bulletin standing by the screen, and a map showing the the various constituencies keyed onto the studio floor. And a live from Len Tingle. Good stuff!

Oversight at start of late Calendar News tonight (East/South version) where rather than Duncan Wood appearing on the aston it said "NAME".

Is that a chance to name him I wonder? If so I will have first go please - "Patronising B******" to reflect his "Good Evening Everyone" opening as if we are 5 year olds.

Can we extend this to other Calendar staff? I would like to hear other people's suggestions for Carolyn Hodgson.

There was another one like this the other night where a caption came on over some football highlights saying "Location/Picture Credit" !

BBC Radio Leeds today started to use the new BBC Corporate Local Radio jingle package. Out of the 5 BBC Local Radio stations I can pick up here, I think there's only BBC Manchester that still uses it's own unique package, all the others sound exactly the same. A bit annoying when the travel news comes on, all with the same bed and often with the same person doing the travel.

BBC Radio Humberside have somehow managed to go with a refreshed package of their existing one a few weeks back. However Nottingham (who had the same package) have gone with the corporate version. Not sure how Mr Pattern got away with that!!!
