Radio York will come mainly from Leeds over the whole of next year. They'll be using their studio bus as a base in York, and like you say, their satellite offices across North Yorkshire.
A special temporary studio's been built in Leeds, upstairs in the old finance offices. They'll also be using one of the main Radio Leeds studios.
It's a complete building refurbish, totally gutted, not just a studio refit.
They were unable to find another suitable building in city centre York.
Thanks for that, FromTheNorth, interesting stuff! Could be some interesting compliance issues if they try to pretend they're in York when they're really in Leeds.
I was thinking they might use Leeds more as a hub to handle contributions from Harrogate, Scarborough and the bus (and I guess the radio car) rather than having live presenters there too often, but if they're going to have two studios available that seems to suggest they're going to be on air from Leeds.
Poor Kezza Gosney is having fun on YTV's ITVLocal.com (as of 6.25pm). I think someone's posted up the actual forecast AND those takes where she got it wrong.

Haha. It's the winter solstice tomorrow, you know! Seems fitting it is the first day of winter tomorrow, with the weather we've been having.
I composed a few screen shots of Kerrie's bad day, including a VT clock and test card of: YTV Calendar. There was another which said "ITV Yorkshire - Leeds", but I didn't capture that.
The 'B' or possibly 'C' team in charge on Look North tonight - Phil Bodmer and Tanya Arnold with the last full length Look North before Christmas
I was surprised it wasn't Harry and Christa for the last Look North of 2009. Phil Bodmer seems to be presenting the main edition more than Ian now sadly.
