Alex Watson is from Tyne Tees. No idea though if she travelled to Leeds to cover the shift, or if Yorkshire's bulletins came from Gateshead.
It looks like she's on all week, they've dropped the weather chat bit in Calendar though, she only does the forecasts.
Who is she? Is she Tyne Tees's number 2, their version of Kerrie?

Indeed, Alex is the stand in for 'Pip'. Shame Kerrie couldn't of covered for Jon either as both Alex and Pip are truly awful at presenting the weather.
Philippa is presenting North East Tonight/Lookaround this week. Therefore Alex is on overtime, she's been presenting since last Friday. Which I'm surprised at, with her recently just working at weekends following her return from maternity leave, though I rate her higher than Pip at presenting forecasts. It's vice versa though for newsreading! I prefer Pip to Alex presenting the main news programmes. It's a right mess who's doing what at TTTV HQ at the moment...
Though we had Kerrie Gosney return to cover a few forecasts last week, we had Phillippa Tomson doing the mid-morning Yorkshire Weather today. I guess she may be doing the forecasts all week, as Alex did?
I have to say I thought Look North (Leeds) was appalling yesterday (Monday). All they gave us regarding news was one item. The second item was a lengthy report - more a feature than a news item, and the rest was just sport round-up. I know Bank Holidays are quiet, but surely not so much that there's only one news article. I'm not sure if Look North's Bank Holiday editions are usually this thin, but this was by far the worst news bulletin of any kind that I've ever seen.

I wonder if we are getting a new set or some images in the titles are changing.
Titles and music will stay the same with the set changing I think. Perhaps I move to look like Hull's set? But I cant see Christa back behind a desk. It will be interesting to see on monday.
