So it looks like the entire days output will be hosted by just 3 presenters

Same thing's happening on Granada, rather than having a different presenter for the post News At Ten/Late News, they usually get one half of whoever's presenting the 6pm programme. I suppose it makes sense when they're only on at 1.55pm, 6.00pm and 10.30/11.30pm. (And GMTV, but thats different)

On ITV Wales the GMTV presenter usually does the 1.55pm bulletin as well (and used to do the 11.10 as well when that was on). Sometime one of the 6pm presenters does the late bulletin or sometimes its someone completely different - it depends. The 6pm presenters usually do 1 late night bulletin each a week tho.

Is that the usual format in all regions?

In Tyne Tees, their was a dedicated presenter for the GMTV bulletins (and the former 11:15 bulletin). With one of the four main presenters presenting the lunch bulletin alternating weekly, with one of the three main presenters alternating weekly to present late bulletins. However this past week with no more North/South editions various reporters have been presenting different bulletins, bar the GMTV bulletins.

Anyone notice if the late Look North (Leeds) went out on either analogue or freeview? BBC London went out on DSat. Just rewound the PVR and the headlines were fine.

We got treated to Ian's voice and Look North's reports with pictures from BBC London for the whole bulletin... it made a change to say the least!

And to me it looks like BBC London gets a poor deal with their local weather forecast at 10.30pm.

Analogue was ok but as said above Freeview consisted of Look North sound and BBC London pictures

The first story was about a serious sex attacker that is on the run that public need to look out for, Police had released pictures of him, which strangely looked like commuters on the London Underground!

And almost the the whole lunchtime bulletin disappeared today on digital. Only appeared about three minutes from the end with an apology at the conclusion. For the first few minutes we had, as last night, sound but a black screen then they pulled the plug and went to London before Leeds popped back up - not going well at BBC Leeds!

Why did they put a "Leeds" location aston on the screen when Alan Whitehouse was clearly in front of a CSO screen? Technically correct but seems daft when he's in a studio in the same building.

Something deff going on in Hull as they arent using the normal studio this week. Surely not a brand new studio set after nearly years?!

Could be the same lighting checks that Manchester decamped to Liverpool for a few weeks back. Presume they're back using the meeting room that they moved that cramped set which came from the old building into until the new technical areas were ready to go live.
