She doesn't even get to do lunchtimes thesedays, pretty much every other presenter has done the lunchtime in the past year but never Clare.

Even if she is a bit shouty, she's still better than Carolyn Hodgson. They also don't allow her to present any bulletins during PM hours!

Has Clare done lunchtimes since she gave birth? Perhaps not working in the afternoon is her choice given her family commitments. But don't let that spoil the consipracy theories.

Yes, she's far to loud for me too in the mornings plus she has the annoying habit of useing the phrase "going to be, going to go or gonna be" rather than the correct "will be" or just "going" - a minor point I know but it really grates with me. i've taken to counting the number of times in short Bully she says it - top so far is four times.

I also hate the way people misspell the word "using" as "useing", or the way people forget to capitalise "I", or the way people get "to" and "too" muddled up, or the way people don't use quotation marks properly, or people who generally have poor grammar.

"Going to be" is not grammatically incorrect. Neither is "gonna be" - it's informal, however.

I also hate the way people pick on other contibutors spelling on these boards.
BTW I did not use "I hate" in my post - as you can clearly read.
now back to my original comment "going to go" and "gonna be" are wrong.
Now if you will excuse me i'm going to go and gonna be off and useing my sign on i'll ad some more coments elsewerr.

Jenny Hill was on Breakfast this morning. A good attachment to get.

And on Breakfast through to the 6 today - she's obviously liked (she impressed a lot during the News Channel's Shannon coverage I'm told) so I'd put money on her not returning to Look North.

As I've agreed with Spencer before, I do think it's her choice (for whatever reason). Also with her presenting The Politics Show for Yorkshire she does plenty of work.

It was quite funny tonight on Calendar when Jeff Stelling took over and read the sport.

Meanwhile on The Peter Levy Show, Peter padded out the end of the show by reading out viewer's e-mails concerning the introduction of EU regulations on pesticides, proving that the show has at least some active dedicated viewers.

Incidentally, was it unusual that the regional news was apparently cut short so that after about two minutes of BBC program promotions (about a minute less on BBC-1 Wales though), the appalling One Show could start at 18:58h (not 19:00h) giving the presenters plenty of time to fawn over David Cameron?

The One Show always starts around 1857 or 1858.

Thanks for the confirmation.

So that begs the question why does the BBC Radio Times list the show at 19:00h, when in the past the magazine was always very good at giving more accurate times in the past.

For example, I seem to remember 02, 22, 27, 57 minutes past the hour as being given as the starting time for some programs on BBC radio.

This was covered on Points of View - I don't recall that the schedulers' response was a particularly acceptable explanation for the published schedule being inaccurate.

So Question Time is from Leeds tonight, where is it being done, YTV?

"Last Orders", Yorkshire's late night political series now seems to be presented by John Stapleton. Strange the final series has got such a big name presenter compared with the last few series

Heh, I got a press release about this in work the other day - because it's at the West Yorkshire Playhouse.

How many TV studios were there at Woodhouse Lane? Was there a "network" studio or just the regional one? (Not counting the self-op pres studio)

The reason I ask is that I believe they used to do Question Time there from Woodhouse Lane, would that have been from a proper TV studio or would they have used Radio Leeds's Studio 2 (which was big enough to take an audience of over 150) as either a four waller with a scanner?

Given that they have been known to use Universities to stage Question Time before, I wonder if they'll ever go back to Old Broadcasting House?.
