The rumour that I heard was that Jon Mitchell was staying on, because as a Met Office employee. he costs ITV nowt.

Surely all 3 of them will be needed as they need to cover Tyne Tees now as well. Debbie leaving I can understand as she does radio as well and only seemed to do the weather at weekends lately.

Well I'm sure it wouldn't be too much trouble for the national team to record regional forecasts for every region.

With all the cutbacks you can see it coming.

I reckon we'll see Sian Lloyd and Becky Mantin presenting Yorkshire Weather before the year is out.

Jon presented the weather forecasts today on Tyne Tees, so he hasn't gone then..

I take it Tyne Tees will get the new forecaster on Monday? That is if it isn't Jon.

Just one version of ITV Calendar this eve, Has this been the same arrangement all over the Festive period or have they introduced the cutbacks already ?

Only the main programme is ever split and as is Friday they probably though it wasn't worth bothering today. I imagine it'll be back to normal on Monday

I think they usually go pan-regional over the festive period.

I didn't realise she'd never done the main programme before until Harry mentioned it. I think she's rather good.
