Peter Levy got half a dozen mentions on Radio 1 this morning


Anyone else notice that tonights main titles had the originally planned tune for the April relaunch - extra loud beeps if you ask me!


Bet that won't last long, BBC London had that tune for 2 or 3 days before being made to switch over to the one everyone else is using.

Richard Hammond was on as a guest, and it was mentioned that his career included a stint at Radio Leeds, where there was also Jon Hammond, and somehow Levy came into the conversation.

Is Mrs A dressed in black fishnets and a frilly black lace jacket to try to tempt tonight's guest Wayne Sleep over from the dark side?

I no longer watch Look North on a regular basis, but any time I've caught the show recently, that lady looks more and more like a brothel madam.

This one is for "charidee" though-- IIRC Paul's books have been for his own gain? As long as R Jon doesn't try to replicate Paul's smug, rampant ego Wink

Peter Levy will presenting a show on BBC Humberside from next Monday, 12-2pm, a topical chat programme. Speaking of Paul Hudson, he gleefully pointed out that Richard Hammond had thought Levy had retired... also Moyles had asked listeners to text in with their views on the "legend" Levy, but nobody did apparently!

I'd forgotten about 'Radio Pontoon'... or maybe I'd tried to blank it out. Either way, Alan Partridge would have been proud.

This lunchtime, it's black frills with purple tights. You could be right.
