I guess Look North will soon have to re-edit their titles, given that the Yorkshire Wheel in York is closing at the beginning of next month.

I wonder what landmark they'll use instead at the end of the titles. I'd suggest the cooling towers at Tinsley, but...

Yes, it's a bit of the curse of the Look North titles isn't it.

They featured a GNER train.

That was replaced by the Tinsley Towers.

And the new titles end on the Yorkshire Wheel.

Who next!? Smile

Anyone else noticed Ian seems to be presenting with Christa more and more with Harry being absent far than more usual. Maybe they want Harry out?

Tinsley Towers featured on Calendar (South) too, it's been replaced by an English Hertiage castle, not sure if it's Bolsover Castle or Conisborough Castle-- I think the former?

With Ian doing the afternoon and evening bulletins, I do wonder what benefit bringing Harry in to do the 6.30 while Ian is obviously in the building is, in these days of belt tightening at the BBC.

That said I suspect Ian contributes to producing the 6.30, and he is occasionally on an OB local to Leeds or reporting on some breaking news from the newsroom, so having such a safe pair of hands available can be a good thing.

You do wonder if they're thinking about the future without Harry and Christa. They both must be very expensive presenters?

I personally think the programme's far better with Ian and Jenny but given he's been the number two man for so long, I can see Ian not getting the gig if Harry did leave.

My tip for the post-Harry and Christa pairing - Graham Liver and Jenny Hill.

Of course I'm probably completely wrong!

Talking about Harry, considering he often works weekends with The Super League Show, Look North, occasional appearances reporting live on Final Score he's probably entitled to a lot of time off in the week

The number of shows with Christa, Harry and Paul seems to very few as one of them seems to be always off thesedays

There's an item on the Politics Show Yorkshire coming up about the cuts at YTV. Including some nice up to date gallery shots showing Tonight with Christine Talbot going out.

Nice to see Jason McCartney again.

Sadly though many of the young people in the clip confirmed the reason why ITV are cutting regional programming rather than argue against it

And if you're in the Colne Valley, you can vote for him at the next General Election!
