I had to get some clips of this from tonight's Calendar

Yorkshire's oldest table tennis player or something

Even Jon Mitchell got in on the act

Saw that too, Andrew, and just had to laugh. With that tennis table in the studio you can just see how small the set really is!

Speaking of Jon Mitchell where is the weather presented from on Calendar? Last I read, the blue screen was directly opposite the presenters/desk but to the right a little.

How come Radio York have still got a BBC Bus? I thought they'd all been scrapped in a cost cutting exercise at the end of last year? Or is there one left that any station can borrow for OBs and events?

You are obvious mentioning that due to the Great Yorkshire Show coverage. Expect fun and games on Look North and Calendar during the week. I liked Paul Hudson comment about Carol Kirkwood being there 'from network BBC' along with the local forecasters

Nice to see Look North from Leeds is going to do a good job of covering their show unlike in Hull where they snubbed the Lincolnshire Show!

So Look Norf ULL tonight sends over a reporter, Loveday Kitto (who's name sounds like a 1970's porn star Laughing ), to the Great Yorkshire Show - how long has Harrogate been in the Look Norf ULL area of coverage? All this along with the Mayor of Wetwang's report - live from the Yorkshire Show of course Confused "It's just not good enough, is it?" Laughing

Rather ironic in light of my previous post Laughing

Excellent Job as always provided by Look North tonight and throughout the day but sadly the same cant be said for YTV with just Chris Kiddey and Jon Mitchell doing a 5 minute OB link into Calendar.

There was a clip of Christa on tonight's Calendar Shocked

I hope they don't erase her totally from the YTV at 40 programmes, I think they've passed that stage really

They said tonight that there's a special edition of Calendar on the 29th. I hope they get away with using an old title sequence at the start with the old music

I hope Mike Morris appears, he hasn't been seen on TV since I don't think

I suppose a commemorative start-up like LWT did is out of the question? The titles of Thursday's programme looked very evocative of some of Dave Jeffery's other work (although the credits suggested otherwise)
