The Set in HULL I think was designed when it was presented by two presenters ( PETER and HELEN ) , since then with just PETER on his own the studio looks stupid with the big sofa and the studio set needs adjusting to accommodate just one presenter rather than two needs reshuffelling or something

I've noticed LN Leeds having problems with sound on pre-rec packages - there's a convention of putting the voice-over on the left channel and the natural audio on the right, then playing it through a mixer channel set to mono, so that it's possible to extract a clean version of the underlying material for reuse.
Except they keep not doing that stereo/mono switch and flicking it over during the report as soon as they notice and have a suitable point to switch it unobtrusively.

As i don't agree with the new look for the regions as i still believe each region should have its own identity and credits look North looks pretty good and a new tv set added for linconshire and Hull. Not a bad job out of a bad situation. also noticed that loom North Cumbria ans NE have opted for a completely different theme to everyone else sounds just like the OLD theme good to see they're trying to rebel against this new look lets go back to the 1999 era. What does everyone else think??

Why have a fake view as a backdrop of the BBC TV National Newsroom on A BBC TV Regional News Programme ?
I just can't see the sense in it ?
I know that the BBC rebrand was all about a coherent look but showing a London Newsroom in Hull just takes the whole excercise too far !
