Justice was served up today on the lunchtime Look ULL.

'We go live to our reporter in ULL ' who was not at the coroners court as he should have been but obviously could not be bothered to go further than just outside the front door of Queenies Court. This time however he was hi-jacked by a bunch of chav lads who did not stay in the background making pratts of themselves but got up close and personal shouting and getting a bit too near to the camera Razz

Memo to all staff from HLRP... All live reports from Hull should now be done from INSIDE the front door Wink Wink Wink

haha, I saw that Laughing Clip here for anyone that missed it: http://news.bbc.co.uk/player/nol/newsid_7250000/newsid_7257000/7257027.stm?bw=bb&mp=wm&news=1&bbcws=1

It is crazy. Tonight Hanna Moffatt reported on another story in the dark from outside the front door. I cannot see the point in it at the best of times but with the local chavs about it is asking for trouble.

They built a soundproof secure studio for a reason, they should use it.

All this comes about by building a broadcasting centre in a block of flats, next to a drop out / chav / druggie / rehabilitation centre at one end of Queens Gardens.

Despite the Beeb having the fuzz as their next door but one neighbours - Queens Gardens is well known as the place that druggies shoot up just over the wall from the central police station.

You don't go out here alone - you certainly don't go down dock street at the back of the BBC building (where some idiot put the staff entrance!) one wonders what this does to the BBC EY&L taxi bill ? Silent

Yes, she's done quite a few bulletins at breakfast.

They also seem to be using Graham Liver a bit more - he's done lunchtime a couple of times. They've got loads of women to present so maybe they're looking at having him around as 'number 3' to Harry and Ian.

He also did the late bulletin a few days ago.

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I've just spotted a new trail for Look North before the Six.

It features Harry and Christa in the studio, cutting to Jenny Hull on a report, then Roopa also on a report, then to Ian White standing beside a water feature, then back to Christa again.

And Christa looks very orange tonight (didn't I say she'd be getting the tan back to full glow?) and is wearing a jacket Laurence Llewelyn Bowen would be proud to claim he designed.

So history repeats itself with the Radio Leeds mid-morning show presenter doing lunchtime Look North, Levy style!

Watching the BBC Breakfast news this morning, the main story on the national news was the ineffectiveness of prozac etc. So, on comes the Look Norf ULL bulletin, and the lead story is...... the ineffectiveness of prozac. Justification by Queenies Court for this pointless repetition no doubt being that the research was done in ULL Rolling Eyes

The expert being interviewed down the line was coming from the ULL studio, so perhaps not too much of a surprise.

There has been the most nausiating trailer made & now running promoting LUK ULL

"We were there for you in the floods we are here for you now"

Just exactly where where they?

Were they pumping out the homes which were flooded, NO

Were they rescuing people? NO

Were they saving property? NO

Were they obsessing about ULL - Yes

Did they go banging on for months using the same tired flooding pictures? Yes

Did they forget the rest of the East Riding and stay in ULL (mostly at Queenies Towers) ? Yes

Levy didn't leave the studio throughout all this - At least Arry & Christa got wet.

They were not for everyone there then and they never have been or will be - they don't have the ability, training or expertise - or if they do its well hidden. Laughing

Had the epicentre of the earthquake been nearer to ULL, I'm sure the entire lunchtime bulletin would have been devoted to it.. Nice to see they managed to tie it in with the ULL floods - interviewing some of the former flood victims who got woke up by the earthquake Laughing
