There were fun and games on tonight's Calendar

Just as Christine and Duncan were linking into the weather, the background view of Sheffield by night changed suddenly into Leeds by day

The correct view was back after the weather. Duncan and Christine laughed it off saying the sun must have risen a bit early tonight, adding, not to mention it changing from Sheffield to Leeds!

Speaking of YTV, has anyone else seen their studios recently? All remaining traces of the chevron have been removed from the main Kirkstall Road building, replaced by the "ITV" corporate logo. It looks awful, in my opinion (for some reason, the large-ish chevron on the Emmerdale production centre has remained there).

I think the chevron is still on the sign at the Studio Road end of the drive down the front entrance, isn't it? I went past on Sunday and saw the new ITV logo and could have sworn I'd made a point of looking at the sign to see if that had been dechevroned too.

they even removed the side on the back of the building facing burley road?

is it just the itv logo at the front or itv yorkshire?

Still made Look North look a poor man's news programme though. Can't wait 'til Calendar is reunited.

Duncan did well to hold to together tonight. He was on an OB and there was some mad women in the background, getting into shot and tugging at Duncan's jacket trying to talk to him!

For the past two evenings, Look North Leeds has cocked up on the first report, when the first VT is run, the start of the audio from the Look North titles appear and the report is still on freeze. Very unusual this has happened on two successive days.

Also, is it just me or have most of the top stories on Look North recently been about Leeds? Rather than lead on the new Sharon Beshenivksy case arrest (even though the suspect is/was being held in Leeds), the lead was about a victim of the Lotto rapist failing to get compensation - in Leeds.

How much coverage did the Beshenivsky case get on the national news? If the story had more or less all been told on there then it might be appropriate to go with something different first.

All that was really on show was that great big illuminated "ITV" logo. As for the sign, I recall it having the ITV logo stuck on it now. I didn't see the chevron anywhere to be honest.

In the Hull city centre office there are still two Yorkshire Television signs complete with Chevrons on the front of the building (look just like the old YTV end caps). Underneath the signs there are ITV1 logos on the windows.

Not sure, however, if the building is still in use.
