Assuming it does go, I don't see it as much of a loss. From what I could make out for the most part, the two editions covered mostly the same stories, albeit sometimes in a different order.

Maybe so, but that doesn't mean that it should be any more expected that he gets a mention in Y+L when it never raised an eyebrow in the North West thread! We don't exactly get many big names on the news over here y'know!

But surely this is what the whole point of the proposed ITV Regional News shake-up is about. A regional TV service for it's own viewers.
His appearance is more relevant to me here as he is in a local Theatre not 65 miles away.

I need help! (there's an ambiguous statement...)

I'd like to gather a few pics (i.e. like "screen-grabs" etc) of the two main news programmes for Lincs & E Yorks (i.e. BBC Look Hull, and ITV Calendar South).

Any idea of websites where I might find a decent selection?

I'm hoping for things like studio wideshot, title sequence endcap, weather presenter & map, etc etc. I'm particularly keen for a pic of Look Hull weather, with all the place-names from King's Lynn to Wetwang showing on it, to be included.
