Owing to "technical difficulties" apparently, although Paul joked it was because he had an unsightly mole at the end of his nose. His Levyness couldn't contain his glee, "the weather forecast we have been waiting for all these years".

technical difficulties sounds feasible enough, if the camera or lighting for the CSO position had gone down but it was possible to feed just the graphics with sound. Presumably discovered too late for it to have been pre-recorded in the main Leeds studio.

Paul explained yesterday that the fuse in his camera blew five minutes before he was due to come on air, for his LNH stint!
His Levyness pointed out that he had received more emails about that incident, than anything else Small had ever done on the programme

i've started to watch look northonline. I like Peter he's warm and welcoming and likes to have a laugh too. He does need a new set though as he look out of place on that sofa and could do with a new co presenter the news does seem a bit poor quality though. Thats not his fault he just comes in and does his job!!!
