I'm glad to hear that they've got round to having a Lincoln backdrop, as that's nice and central within the Calendar South sub-region (Sheffield and Hull are rather "southwest" and "northeast" extremities of the patch).
Has Calendar North/Pan-regional now got a third backdrop too? If so, what? I know the first was Leeds, then York.
They've moved on to another Leeds one

I have to say that compared to Look Hull, Calendar has a rather fresh feel to it. So far for the background shot, we've had Sheffield, Hull (The Deep) and now Lincoln Cathedral.

Did anyone else spot the link to "ITV1 - Wanted" on the screengrab used to illustrate the most wanted criminals in Yorkshire? You could see it during the headline sequence, but on introducing the story, it was hidden behind Christa as she stood in front of the screen.
Very funny moment at the end of LNL tonight when Harry suggested the charges for the toilet in Scarborough should be "slashed" - Christa *almost* lost it.

Yer any one know?
It's in the Colemanballs section, and a quote of His Levyness reading the following news item:
"A blind man was attacked by two men, one believed to be a woman"

I think Jon Mitchell is great, I like his animated but authorititative forecasts-- a nice personality too. Then again he has had almost 20 years to perfect his art on Calendar !
I agree that Jon and Gaynor make a good team, although I do miss Duncan Wood
