No John Mitchell presenting weather on

this lunchtime, what's the betting they have standing in a flood in the middle of Baaaarnsleh or somewhere, reporting live from the field (i.e making him suffer for his work
)

Presumably this means he will no longer present the lunchtime bulletin?
Peter Levy, in the Levy Letter posted:
A few things are changing from Monday. One of which is that I will now be with you every evening at 10.25pm on BBC One for the late Look North. That's just after the ten o'clock news, every night at 10.25pm as well as being with you for Look North at half past six as usual. So join me for that if you can for both of those. And there are a few changes to the Letter as well. It'll be shorter and more concise from Monday, but there'll still be room to let you know what's happening on the programme that day and room for your comments as well. And of course, I still want to know about events that are happening near you, so there'll still be space for those. There'll be regular details in the Letter still about special stories and news that I think you should know about. So from Monday, it's all change and there'll be a new look Letter on Monday.
Presumably this means he will no longer present the lunchtime bulletin?

Especially as The Environment Agency control rivers whereas most of the problems have been from drains which are council controlled!

Christa Ackroyd with a bit of Levy style 'it's not good enough is it' having a go at a women from the Environment Agency for not warning people of the floods early enough. The women was quite annoyed by the end of it

It's quite embarrassing isn't? All that rain, what do you say to people who maybe watching this programme through a snorkel? It's not good enough telling people it's going to rain hard. You should be able to do something to stop the flooding surely?
We'll throw this open, I'm sure we get a big response on this. No wonder Young Man dared not show his face today.

He covered himself well there didn't he?
It was Lisa Gallagher on LNH last night, and it was His Levyness who quipped: "No wonder he dared not to show his face today"
Bad drain flooding in Hull, all those turds floating down the street (makes a change from them being in the phone boxes). The deluge did thousands of pounds' worth of improvements in the city <"old jokes revisited" emoticon>.

It really is not good enough, is it?
I thought Sandcastles with Peter was Look North Hull at its finest. Shame it we didn't have Small instead of Lisa, to really crank up the naff factor.

Exhibit 6 is particularly cringeworthy, a terrible interview.
