Tim Iredale presents LNH tonight. But Peter still had time to write the letter and fulfill today's "thank you very much indeed" quota.

Do we get points for mentioning of Wetwang (not including on the map)?

Speaking of Wetwang, for those with nothing to do & wanting to spend a few hours this weekend - ten minutes will do it actually - there is the most dreadful example of a scarecrow festival in Wetwang. The damn things have been up all week and causing allsorts of dangerous driving on what is a Main A road through the village. Lots of examples of rubber necking and Sheilas wheels driving can be found which is far more entertaining than the scarecrows. Now that would be a story for Look Levy only I think the Mayor of Wetwang has knobbled the editor Wink More censorship at the Beeb Laughing

Yeah, I think there might have been a small mention of that in the Letter today too.

Only one problem - you've missed out the 'they could be watching tonight, what do you say to them' and the 'it's quite embarassing isn't it' catchphrases.

Surely that's worth far more points? (About 1million, I'd say...) Wink

How many for "Radio Humberside/Lincolnshire, on the air right now"? (And why do they never mention Radio Sheffield when Belmont covers bits of South Yorkshire)

Thats politics & Radio Sheffield is Helen Thomas's region not Cath Hearn's. We don't want to step on anyones shoes now that uncle Gregs 'One BBC' has bitten the dust Wink

I watched Tim Iredale too, thought we might get a refreshing change on Friday from His Levyness (where was he I wonder-- Tanfastic?).

But no: A Levyism within the first five mintues; in the form of a snarling "what are you going to about it?" to an errant KUH City councillor.

You can award yourself a pint of Tetley's for the Wetwang mention. I bet poor Dick must be on spin-cycle in his grave, after hearing his beloved Wetwang being desecrated on Look North Hull .

The get out for the non region of Yorks & Lincs & North Norfolk was always that they would have the new local news service. It looks like its bitten the dust thanks to national commercial pressure from local newspaper companies - the Hull Daily Mail are very anti BBC anyway - not to mention extraordinary amounts of ring fenced money on a move to Manchester which few want. BBC ULL have quietly stopped making the online local news, no more Peeta perched on the end of his desk in the office reading the headlines whilst staff try to avoid being seen in the background Wink

ROFL. Loving this!! I think if we awarded ourselves tipples for each of these, our livers would drop out by the end of June.

5 points also for: "It's not on is it" or "What are you going to do about it?"
5 points for a Lincoln Studio interview, to justify its existence.

I have noticed Levy has a new pet-- Alan Johnson. He seems to be appearing more of late, obviously due to his DPM candidacy. I wonder if he will have a scarf knitted for him, by one of Levy's blue-rinsers. I'm wondering if Peeta will jump on the bandwagon, and have a Leave it to Levy dedicated to finding Madeleine Wink

Coming soon, I have obtained a written copy of an interview John Prescott did with Peter Levy recently Wink Watch this space...
