Calendar South is usually live from a tugboat on the Humber

So, why the heck are Calendar North/West in Disneyland? And are Calendar South/East viewers missing out, or are they getting Disneyland stuff too?

Christine is representing the Emley programme and John is there for Belmont

They are live so that section of the programme is being simulcast on both versions

Both programmes have to make sure they are working in time with each other so they can hand over to the Florida OB at the same time

what is the actual reason calendar has sent john, christine and Tina to florida? is it all to do with Calendars latest competition!! and alothough Tina Gelder is there we havent really seen much of her yet!

And are they actually making a decent job of doing that?

Can you imagine the OUTRAGE that would be shown on this forum if Look North ditched almost all their programmes for a week in order to send Crista, Peter and Paul Hudson on a jolly to America.

Yes because we would be paying for it wouldn't we? Although I'd be happy if my Licence Fee paid for a one-way ticket for Levy Least it would be easier for him to stay orange in Florida

Don't forget that Calendar has got form for doing special transmissions. Does anybody remeber when they did a simulcast with a German station (1987?). Quite good.

I read on the TVRoom that Jon Mitchell and Debbie Lindley once did a weather forecast together? How did that work exactly?

I think that was the time there was a forthcoming eclipse and so they attempted to explain how it worked with the aid of various balls. After that Jon stepped out of shot and Debbie did the forecast proper.

Strange though it may seem, we also pay for ITV, indirectly.
