Aaah, thanks for that. So whose decision was for his Levyness to remain 'unpartnered'?

His Leviness did not want a partner and used the occasion to argue, very successfully, that he could handle it if they wanted to employ a reporter in Lincoln.

This was before Radio Lincolnshire was made part of the new 'region' & at a time when everyone at Radio Lincolnshire were happy and had a successfull station. Then Hull management got involved and the rest is history - or would be if they admitted the figures Rolling Eyes

The atmosphere is a little strained towards head office in Hull these days considering they did not want to leave the Midlands fold.

As for Hull the arrogance will catch up with them sooner or later and someones wotsits will be for the chop thats if they have got any as most heads of region seem to be female these days and the ones in the North are all blonde.
Before the P.C. police get up in arms, thats not sexist, its a fact Razz

Presumably Herbies the local supplier of buns and cakes to Queenies castle has provided them with some tastie eats so they didn't send anyone out from the colourfull offices Wink

No stop press they have just sent Phil Connell out to film some Horse Polo - a story pinched from the Hull Daily Mail a few weeks ago Rolling Eyes

So the main story tonight, Coffee Controversy - Coffee Shop opens in Hull without planning permission. Shocked

And a terrible interview in the latest round of Levy vs Council man, this has gone beyond parody.

Words you never thought you'd hear on Look North (part 94): "...and the Archbishop of Canterbury joins me on the sofa..."

- But you can stop them, can't you?
- In which way do you think we can stop them, Peter?
- Well I don't know... well... well... surely you could?

(No, he couldn't)

Did we get a "it's not good enough is it?" at all? Strong words there.

I switched over in time for tea and scones with the Archbishop-- perpetuating Lukk Nurrth Ull's current pathological obsession with William Wilberforce Laughing

Dear Leave it to Levy,

A Major broadcaster has allegedly opened a coffee shop/ internet cafe/drop out centre in BBC Queenies Court open centre without planning permission. Please can you speak to the management and get an answer?

Thanks Peeta

Mrs T. Roggles, Ezzle Roaaad, ULL.

Well its not really good enough is it really, I mean, well there's the camera what have you got to say to our viewers? I'll take that as an apology then.

The council conveniently looking the other way on this one & nothing to do with the BBC / Hull City Council Big Screen debarcle Exclamation Strong word there strong words Razz

Come to think of it where in the BBC charter does it say the BBC must provide a coffee & biscuit cafe service to Hullites? What a tangled web the BBC weave Confused

Last nights Lukk Nuuurth Ull:

Peter Levy: "Paul, we've had a letter in from a viewer, Mrs X: 'Dear Paul. I was looking south in the sky at 7pm last night. I saw green light move swiftly from west to east in a flash. Do you know what is-- can you help?"

Paul Hudson: "I have no idea Mrs X-- lay off the sherry".

PL: "Hohoho. This woman has written in for your help, that's not good enough is it? She was wondering if it was a meteorite or something".

PH: "I have no idea. Not a clue".

Well that was well worth a couple of minutes or airtime wasn't it? Rolling Eyes
