Laughing Thanks for your concern, but I don’t take much notice of those people with no sense of humour-- they’re not worth listening to Wink. I have one only thing to say:

Anyway back on topic: I actually quite liked The Deep when I visited Hull last, one of the city's redeeming features, along with the Kingswood Retail Park and....erm....yeah

I haven't watched Look North Hull for a while or three-- does his Levyness still consume the programme with his cringeworthy banter with the weather presenter (Paul Hudson?)

Laughing I notice its news coverage doesn't extend far beyond what was Humberside! Even Calendar manages to get some news from northern Norfolk (well nicks it from Anglia anyway).

It's a pity that Peter Levy doesn't have a co-presenter-- so could he please take Ann Davies away from BBC EMT? I think Ann and Peter would be well suited together Laughing

"Hello hope you had a good day and welcome to the programme,
Yes but, I mean its just not good enough is it really,
I mean what have you got to say to our viewers tonight,
Strong word there, strong words,
Our director liked this picture he thought it was arty,
Hello your worship we had an email...,
We'll open this one up to you, those are the numbers on the screen
See you all again tommorow,
na night"

There was a job swap on the BBC this morning, in aid of Comic Relief

Lisa Gallagher joined Andrew Edwards on the BBC Radio Leeds breakfast show

Meanwhile Georgey Spanswick did the weather on Look North's breakfast bulletins

And on Tuesday night's Look North, they showed a clip of Georgie presenting the weather on TVam from the 1980s.

Handy that the TVam name is now owned by a member of the LN presenting team...

You see.... a match made in heaven Wink All Peter Levy would need is some black horn-rimmed glasses, so he can look down his nose at the viewers properly Wink

The average Peter Levy Show summed up beautifully there, although you forgot the classic, "Thankyou for being there", usually at the top of the show, middle and again at the end.

They also ran comic relief messages on the graphics system this morning as well, which was a bit dodgy when Clare was reading the serious news at the same time.

That must be the first time anyone has put the word "serious" in a message about Clare Frisby on Breakfast.

I wonder if she and Happy Clappy Carolyn on the other side will be wearing red noses on Friday morning.

And the time check which mentions "here on BBC1"

It's also invariably the wrong time.

Don't forget it's live from Hull - or at least bits of it are.
