Peter Levy's flat is just up from the Deep (glorified fishtank full of annoying kids and sharks) Its not worth the entrance fee.
Its on Victoria Dock which is supposedly a posh bit of downtown ULL. In reality its just a glorified housing estate with views of the muddy Humber.
Much of Vicky dock is close to sea level. Incidentally so is BBC ULL which is built on the quayside of the old Queens dock. Now that might just be one positive thing about global warming. Razz

Take it you don't like 'Ull then-- can't say I blame you Laughing People in Hull say "uuuur nuuuur" all the time. Presumably because it stinks of death and has John Prescott as one of its MPs

Is that The Deep or Mr Levy's flat which isn't worth the entrance fee?

The bottom pic shows the Deep and the tidal barrier behind Peter Levy on Look North. Look up a few pictures and you see the same backdrop filmed from the same angle on Calendar. Looking at the shot they must have both been filmed from a boat in the middle of the Humber.

Razz Razz The camera is positioned on the opposite bank of the River Hull where the old ferries went from before they built the Umber Bridge.
Its where the River ULL meets the River Umber which is to the right.

I think that's upstairs from the reception area at BBC Yorkshire.

First time I've seen Ian wearing glasses.

The former Hull, the latter Grismby!! There is a rude joke about the Humber Bridge being a slang term for an intimate part of a lady's anatomy, because it connects the fishy bit to the sh*thole; but I won't mention it here Wink
