The player has been faulty for over 9 months and obviously is 'not a priority'.

Will things change? Possibly or possibly not,

Cath Hearn - formally of London News is the new boss brought in to shake up Queenies Court in Hull, whilst the previous boss of Hull was moved sideways to Leeds to shake up matters there, whilst the former Leeds boss was moved sideways to Manchester to shake up Manchester - I lost track, and interest after that point.

Cue speculation! Are they moving the sofa around to the other screen again?

I did like the opening shot on Friday as well - the wide shot panned down as ever but was zoomed out enough to see some of the other cameras and even a camera operator. To say the studio once looked massive and bare, it now looks really cramped and small.

It looks, from what I can make out, that they've got rid of the nasty wood-effect Fablon covered desk. Where it used to be is now the soft seating and coffee table from where the whole 1:30 bulletin was presented.

Its the same as the Hull programme - wonder why & who is influencing what. The whole thing is going to the dogs. Jumping ship is the best thing I ever did - speaking to former collegues and friend its unbelievable what is going on.
