Lol, that late bulletin was a classic. They had nothing, no reports, not even the opening titles, one camera shot all way through

Ian read from paper and then ran out of stories so had to resort to promoting the website, how to get in touch, reading the address line by line, ad-libbing what time all tomorrow's bulletins were on at and guessing what would be on the main programme etc!

I bet that was one of Ian's longest 7 minutes in his life!

Looks like everything has gone t**s up on the late bulletin tonight! No opening titles, reports not cueing up, etc. Ian White has told viewers to go to the website to get the stories, as they can't produce them live on screen!

He He Laughing Laughing Laughing Poor bloke...he didn't half look worried... You have to wonder at the marvels of technology.

No packages and no auto cue makes for jack a bording lad.. well you get the drift.

Do they stream the late bulletin on the website these days? I caught the last minute or so having pressed the rewind button on Sky+ seeing this post but I wouldn't mind seeing the whole thing

Why did they not switch to Hull/Nottingham/Manchester?!

Would they have had a feed from other regions available at such short notice? Hull excepted, perhaps.

They are supposed to switch to Hull who would read a dual news bulletin or if things are that bad just take the Hull programme direct. Who didn't follow proceedure - someone will be in bother today Wink
No doubt its all the fault of the FOG Razz

ITV Tyne Tees did things similar to Calendar. With the musical people at the end - but ours was live. As Tyne Tees have two studios. Also this weekened we got xmas graphics. Whilst we've had our two trees up for a while!

Calenders christmas effects look wonderful Wink Good effort!
