Was it Thursday or Friday that they had a young magician on at the end of the show? Harry seemed to be determined to screw up the lad's act in one way or another, giving the smart arse answer to questions about the card he'd picked etc.
It was Friday and yes I felt sorry for the young lad as well. Paul was just the same when the act involved changing his £10 note into a fiver
He did make the McCaskill comparison himself. The fact that the two of them are currently touring WH Smith's in the region signing copies of a book didn't get mentioned though!
Look North's reporter Phil Connell left on Friday and at the end of the programme they showed a montage.
He is joining Look North's "sister programme" Look North Hull
He'll still be seen here as "we share some stories with Hull" as Penny put it
In a totally seperate incident, Paul did the weather with no shoes on
Word was that they were looking for a new political editor! Since the Boss of Hull is the new Boss of Leeds Look Leeds will no doubt become the Harry & Christa show with lots of gossip and no news
No Peter Levy Show tonight - Caroline Davis instead, this time solo rather than with the help of Crispy. Hannah Moffat at lunch. No explanation given (or even a joke made) of Levy's absence, which was a bit unusual - just that he was "away".
I do prefer it when the B-team are on. Caroline in particular seems to put much more effort into the programme than his Levyness does. He's happy enough to coast through, but for the others they seem like they actually want to be there. Anyone know what audience reaction tends to be like?

I guess if it's called the Media Museum, having the Radio Leeds operation there fits a little better
Good point - never thought of that.
I can't help feeling there are a lot of other BBC Local Radio stations which would be more at home in a museum.
Two more people who obviously have not bothered to listen to BBC local radio in the last couple of years.
Believe it or not, it has changed over the years. Yes there are still old stations like Radio Lincolnshire / York / Lancashire, but slowly they are changing like Radio Sheffield / Leeds. It's not all pensioners.
I hope you're not suggesting I'm one of those "two people" - my point was that having radio in a museum of "photography, film and television" is a bit of an anomaly and changing the name to be a "media museum" puts radio into its remit.
