You could be editor yourself
The new editor started a few months ago - and he's still there! As previously mentioned Hull have got through 3 editors in the 3 years it has existed. It will be interesting to see if the new Calendar will make any dent in the ratings which is the only way that there will be any substantive changes. I understand a new set is a possibility after Christmas sometime. It won't cost that much as the studio is the size of a spare bedroom and you can't get that much in. How they expect to produce any other programmes from there is anyones guess

calendar are back in the studio next week.
BS
Will the separate West/East 6pm editions launch as soon as they're back in the studio(s)? Or is the split launch date gonna be a bit later on?
I bet they've done like Central did in Birmingham (i.e. the new dividing wall is not down the exact centre of the total space - but instead affords the "West/pan-regional" studio the lion's share of the space. And "East" will get a broom-cupboard's worth of space by comparison, seeing as that studio/set will only be used for one 30-min show per day).
It'd be nice if they could finally introduce city skyline backdrops, even if it's only for the 6pm edition. They'd probably have to have varying backdrops, like Anglia West or Central East. "West" backdrops could include Leeds, Sheffield, York... "East" backdrops could include Hull, Lincoln, Skegness... (or whatever)

So Calendar is back in the studio, can you spot any differences, does it look notably smaller?

Has it fully split into 2 programmes for the 6pm show now then? If so, who presents the other version? (And which half gets Christine and Duncan?)
