yep the same independent production company has apparently pitched it to/been poached by BBC North. Apparenly commentary comes from Dave Woods and a certain John Helm, who alhough nowadays is Mr YTV sport was at BBC Radio Leeds earlier in his career
Will be interesting to see what happens on Sunday by way of redressing the set for the Politics Show and SLS
I happen to think it looks better purple than it does pink. It definally looks better than the old set where they used to stick grey panels up on the walls.
Interesting that they've gone to the bother of installing two roof top cameras just for a weekly show. They should use them on Look North although I doubt that is allowed as part of the BBC 2004 corporate-ish look. I suppose one of them may double up as Paul's weathercam as well.
Moving on to Hull, what is the current presenting schedule on Look North Hull thesedays? There's been conflicting reports of who hosts the lunchtime show, and who presents at weekends?

Current main lineup is Helen Philpot and Peter Levy, as Helen's taking leave. As for lunch, Peter presents three lunchdays per week, and Helen two. I think the schedule is that Peter does Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Helen does Tuesday and Thursday.

Lunchtime: Peter or Helen. They take it in turns.
Evening: Peter and Helen
Late: Peter or Helen. They take it in turns.
Weekends: Peter Levy presented tonight. Their are a few others who I have seen presenting.

and for the national weather as well I would assume. Not up as webcams on bbc.co.uk/leeds/webcams yet though.
It all went pear shaped on Lunchtime Look North today. For some reason they couldn't bring us the weather with Lisa, so Clare had to read it out herself, she then had to fill for what seemed like an age, with the longest farewell to a bulletin ever, before they gave up and put the Look North holding screen up with the animating rings for a good 45 seconds
Get ready for a week of Paul Hudson wearing ENTIRELY NEW JACKETS!
We had a yellow jacket today, and both Harry and Christa donned sunglasses to reduce the 'glare' of it! In a 'sensational' revelation, Paul told viewers that Tuesday's jacket will be Emerald Green!! He nearly forgot this on air, and just after Look North went off air, Paul could still be heard saying "I had to think there for a moment!" What will the grannies think? Watch this space!
Also, on Radio Lincolnshire, we had a few more Hudson revelations! Transpires that Paul was once an aspiring Eric Clapton that got to Grade 5 guitar (not a bad grade since the highest musically is Grade 8 ), which he had to give up after breaking his left arm in an accident and gets arthritic trouble regularly as a result. Presenter Rod Whiting's arm is in a cast at the moment so they got chatting about fractures! Interesting stuff.....

They're hardly new. I'm sure all his jackets are cast-offs from Nick Owen's 'Good Morning' wardrobe.
Ian White's also currently taking the p*ss out of them in the evening.
In other news... I notice the background at Breakfast is now the projector screen rather than CSO. It looks a lot better, especially as Claire's new 'flicked-up' hairdo was playing havoc with the CSO!
