Levy got to interview a woman about a survey which has found that lots of people think people these days are ruder and standards of manners are declining. The irony didn't go unnoticed here...

Has anyone else noticed that every edition of Calendar seems to end with Duncan doing that over the top laugh of his as he hands over to the weather? Plus Christine is getting a bit like Fiona Philips lately, does anyone else agree?

I notice MG had an advertisement showing an opening for Head of Region in E Yks and Lincs. Will this mean an end to Levy?

Has anyone got a reference number or copy of this?

I wonder who will be in the audience for this :

AN AUDIENCE WITH PETER LEVY - 12/11/06
In support of Children In Need 2006, Hull Truck Theatre presents An Audience with Peter Levy.

BBC Look North's Peter Levy has rubbed shoulders with more than a few stars from the world of show business in his time! So, as a one-off evening event for this year's BBC Children In Need Appeal, Peter brings some of his favourite guests back to Hull for a live theatre audience.

It promises to be an evening not to be missed - with light-hearted fun and chat, music, and some well-known surprise guests. There'll also be Peter's take on what it's like behind the scenes of the nightly news programme "Look North", which he has presented from Hull for more than three years.

For more information on ticket prices and booking please call the box office on 01482 323628 or visit www.hulltruck.co.uk.

Peter will also be joined by the weather forecaster Paul Hudson, his constant television companion, who earlier this year was elected as Mayor of Wetwang in East Yorkshire.

This could be a first, the first time a children in need money raiser loses money.
Of all the boring tedious things to do of an evening!

Least Duncan has some personality about him I suppose. Maybe he could follow in Richard Whiteley's footsteps and become the presenter of Countdown, now Dishy Des has b*ggered off Confused Laughing

There is a lot of confusion internally over BBC Hull. The national news backdrop in the little box room cupboard studio says BBC Hull. The whole thing was known as project Hull until the technical side of things collapsed when KC decided to pull the plug. There was great confusion over what it was to be called and it ended up as Yorks & Lincs after dropping the East.
What you have now is a non-region with very expensive regional centre trying to justify its existance.
It will be interesting to see what happens now some of those rsponsible have moved on to run larger areas so Levy & co should be safe for a while Wink

I'm guessing Faye Barker is currently freelancing on Channel Five, or is she there for good?
