Good cockup there from Look North, in the junction between the news and the lottery they opted out for a trailer, but instead showed Paul's weather forecast again!

You know the one that starts "Thanks Ian..."

Moving on to Calendar, there's been announcements from Tyne Tees and Central/Meridian about the new presenting lineups, but nothing yet from Yorkshire. Anyone any ideas who they would like to see present the full edition of Calendar East?

Vicky Locklin is a breath of fresh air when she fills in for Michelle Gee so she should really get a bigger role with the new set-up

They will be struggling for men though, Calendar is very female dominated

He's kind of Leeds' answer to the nationals' Shami Chakrabarti or Abdel Bari Atwan.

And for the record Alf, and call me sad, but your Dickie impersonations always make me grin.

Please don't inflict him on Calendar.... keep him out of harm's Look North Hull -- which makes even Central News East look good. Pale

Did any other regions present their GCSE results coverage like this?

Interesting - Harry appears to have grown large, saggy, matronly tits, and had his arms amputated.

I can't see the picture (I'm on my computer at my workplace during my lunchtime - I think it's filtered/blocked), but nevertheless your comment made me laugh out loud Laughing

A TV Forum legend (left) was also present who at the end was talking to Peter for ages about Paul, Harry, Christa and everyone else and I just about managed to get a word in before he jetted off back to Hull!

Alas, no.

I wondered if I did say "I'm Stuart from TV Forum, we used to talk on msn years ago" whether she'd slap me and run off
