Despite the new buildings in Leeds and Hull - Hull cannot opt unless Leeds have opted first.
So would that make Hull still a sub-opt of Leeds, despite having totally seperate programming?
Not really. It's just to do with circuitry. Far cheaper to have a line from Hull to Leeds than a line from Hull to London. All regions work on a complex network like this. Nottingham routes to Birmingham etc etc. The BBC is spending your money wisely!!
As a Belmont viewer, does this mean when Tiger Tim is on at Wimbledon again and Look North goes over to BBC2, we will get the Hull programme or the Leeds programme?
