Do you mean Gregs great experiment? About £10 million of the £27 million it took to build Hull was allegedly spent on the gear. Apparently there is still redundant equipment from the great KIT experiment - or disaster depending on your point of view. I don't have much to do with the place now (thankfully) but there was a great deal of new technolgy experimentation and development testing. The jury is out on If it was value for money.
