On the subject of Radio Leeds, it looks like Daragh Corcoran has moved from Drivetime to the highly prized 1am-4am slot! What's he done to deserve that.

The 5pm hour is now a proper drivetime programme with Martin Kelner and Julie Langford. I think this is a bit like some other radio stations do.
This means that Andrew Edwards is now paired with Georgey Spanswick permamenantly on Breakfast.

Meanwhile the extended afternoon slot from 2pm to 5pm now seems to be Diana Luke, who I find quite annoying.

Paul was in Hull again today, and once again, no animating weather graphics. Very poor.

There was nothing, graphics or otherwise at 10.25

Ian White welcomed viewers in East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire and said that they couldn't receive their local news due to 'a technical problem'

I don't know what was going on tonight on Look North but on both the main programme and the late bulletin Paul was unable to use the usual weather graphics. Instead they had to use some static summary slides

I know that there was no use of the graphics either at Breakfast so instead we just had Lisa Gallagher sat in the Leeds studio talking about the weather to Clare.

You'd have thought if this was an ongoing problem they'd have got London to record the Breakfast forecast.

Surely it can't be that big a problem. The weather graphics were still not working 13 hours after last night's main programme. Couldn't be bothered to say up all night then to fix it then!

Was just thinking the other day... where's Dickie Turd gone? I've not seen Look North / Calendar's favourite rentagob for ages now. Has he run off to the same place that Katherine's gone?

He was on Sky News on Sunday morning as Adam Boulton's special guest live at the Lib Dem conference in Harrogate.

Phew - was worried there. Still, I haven't seen him on Look North or Calendar recently. Maybe we'll have to wait until the cricket season's on for more Turd-spotting.
