No - not at all!!! I am sure that there are many others that watch the show who don't live in the region either. As I said, Peter used to do Look North from Leeds when I was at Uni a few years back. So now he is on satellite, I can watch him again! The programme does focus on Hull quite a bit...I agree! Also, there is not much serious news...I agree! But as I said, I would rather watch an entertaining news programme than a 30 minute stint of Midlands Today with Nick Owen and friends. Or Hollyoaks Rolling Eyes on Channel 4.

I am not simple and I think an apology is in order for these unjustifiable comments. There are countless other individuals on this forum who can't even string a complete comprehensible sentence together without missing words, punctuation marks or making spelling errors. You should be ashamed of yourself!

I think it's been Liam on breakfast as well for the last few days.

Out of interest, does anyone know why Look North is the only regional news programme to have its own breakfast forecaster when every other region gets its forecast from London?


It was definitely not Liam at breakfast one day - Tuesday? I think pre-recorded from London, so Radio Leeds didn't have a weather headline in the sequence (at 6 definitely).

BBC South have Alina Jenkins for the lunchtime and 6.30pm South Today's. At Breakfast we get a forecast produced from London.

Tonight's Hull programme wasn't amazingly bad. For about the first ten minutes.

"Leave it to Levy" (a segment within the show) and "Down the line" (when someone is interviewed in a remote studio).

Last night's 10.25pm was from there too.
