A bit different this week on Today's West Yorkshire

Andrew Edwards is joined by Georgey Spanswick sitting in for Julie Langford all week.

I wonder what people outside of West Yorkshire but in the Emley Moor transmission area think of all this, dominating the post-Look North ad slot Tuesdays to Thursdays

And a bit of a funny cockup at 5pm tonight on Radio Leeds, they played the headline news bed instead of the TOTH which just limped along up to and away from the hour before coming to an end somewhere in the middle of the travel

The same could be said about the Toby Foster Radio Sheffield trails and the Radio York North Yorkshire breakfast trails.
The local radio stations have equal amount of time.

Radio Lincolnshire is now (at last) officially part of the 'new' Yorkshire & Lincolnshire region and under the remit of the HLRP in Hull so there will be lots of Radio Lincolnshire trailers soon. Also the hat has gone round to try to find some money to relocate the studios and incorporate a nice new open centre in downtown Lincoln.

I am amazed they let Gerry Adams do a breakfast show. I mean he's hardly the most light-hearted soul. What next? Ian Paisley on drivetime?

Yes, stunning show wasn't it. How long can this dross continue?

Does this mean they will start broadcasting Alex Hall & Martin Kelner?

If you know your Alan Partridge, the clips of Alex on this page prove rather amusing.

Look North's editor is very reluctant to make changes that would either expose further the lack of dynamic or creativity in Hull or upset the 37% audience share. All the Audience Appreciation research show a 50/50 split love him or hate him. Its the blue rinses that love him & he is supposedly a student cult figure, at least I think it was cult.
Everyone plods along in Hull protected by the high audience figures and the hush hush digital work that nobody is supposed to know about OOPS Embarassed

Soccer Night made a long awaited return last night, at the prime time slot of Midnight on ITV1.

Andy Townsend was away doing network coverage so someone else presented it. Last year it was John Shires who stood in, this year the new reserve presenter is Mark Chapman

Yes Mark Chapman as in "Chappers" from Scott Mills.
SP
Steve in Pudsey
as in UK Gold's evening Continuity Announcer (well I guess voice over artist would be more accurate as it's pre-recorded)
