Edit... and apology about the rugby league show last night, it's being repeated Tuesday 11.05pm (I think) for people who "missed it due to a technical fault". Ironic that people won't have seen the apology due to a technical fault.

DSat EPG has it billed for Hull as well, and they did manage to put it out, at least on Satellite, on Saturday night.

Harry seemed a bit confused about it, saying it was at a 'new time this week'

Frazer Maude was on Sky News just now, reporting from Old Trafford surrounded by rowdy England fans.

Is this a joke? Is he freelance?

You might remember not so long ago, there were a lot of job cuts in regional ITV newsrooms, and Calendar was particularly badly affected.

As a result a lot of them opted for a voluntary redundancy package and are now freelance. I assume this is the case with Frazer and also with Faye Barker, hence her appearances on Real Radio.

Just thinking about that, and even if you only consider presenters a lot of them have disappeared over recent months. Except for the core few most bulletin readers seem to be reporters that just do a bit of reading a few days a week. Even then many presenters/reporters arn't seen for days as if they are multi-tasking and do stuff behind the scenes as well

Vicky Locklin - Seems to pop up on Calendar about once every 3 months, should be on more often, anyone know what she does the rest of the time!

Faye Barker - By all accounts no longer works at Calendar

Anne-Marie Tasker - Hardly ever seen much thesedays

Gemma Calleja - on maternity leave apparantly

Georgey Spanswick - Her role along with the type of stuff she did was axed

Andrew Knight - Makes 'The Way we Were' but isn't seen on Calendar?

Yunus Mulla - Now reports for Sky News?

Peter McNearney - The axing of the 3pm bulletin but an end to any emergency appearances by Peter

Raj Shukla - Appears occasionally as a reporter but never presents anymore

Katie Stuart - No longer works for Calendar

Nicola Crompton - Of course now Calendar's Entertainment Reporter Nicola Sands which means she's no longer a presenter

Frazer Maude - As mentioned must now be freelance as he only seems to file a report once a week on Calendar thesedays

Has anyone seen Tina Gelder & her infamous brown coat lately? Word was that when they moved out of Prospect street in Hull it got left behind and it got thrown out. Laughing

I'm pretty certain she's freelance and has been for a long time. She tends to do more stuff for Tyne Tees than Yorkshire and often seems to pop up on their regional programmes like Date My Dad.

There is a certain period of time between taking redundancy and being allowed to return as a freelance, so it may be (assuming she's taken the redundancy option) that she'll be back sometime soon.

Someone told me that she's chosen to concentrate on her family, so only does the odd shift.

No idea on any of the others though.

Well she must have heard us, look who made an appearance tonight

I'd like to see the 4:3 cut out of that

Meanwhile 2 interviews on tonight's Look North were recorded earlier, here's one

No disguising the clock saying 5.25 and Newsround on in the background!
The other one was with Matthew Kelly, where they wrap it up, and then talk about him as if he's not there!

The other rarity tonight was that Paul was in the Hull studio so Lisa did the Leeds based weather.

Due to the breaking news, Ian was joined on the late Look North tonight by Yorkshire Ripper reporter Christa Ackroyd

Don't forget BBC Yorkshire are opting out from the network and timeshifting from 11.05pm tonight

EDIT: Over on Yorkshire, Jon Hill was live in Sunderland and there was a report filed earlier tonight by Christine Talbot

What the heck went on with today's lunchtime Look North (Leeds)? To start with, we were treated to a couple of minutes of Peter Levy in Hull, then back to Leeds, but with sound repeatedly cutting off... then back to Hull... then back to Leeds with the same sound problems. Very poor.

Nice to see YTV forecaster Jo Blythe presenting the national weather.
