How come Christine Talbot looks younger now than she did in those early shots?

Answers on a postcard.

Also, did anyone else notice on Sunday that YTV's Sunday Soapbox has now taken residence in the old Soccer Night set - in close up shots, you could see most of the books on the shelf in the background were about sport Smile

Just listening to Martin Kelner on Radio Sheffield, and former YTV continuity announcer Bob Preedy is about to be interviewed....

Does Nicola Sands still host the Soapbox. The only time I've seen that programme, she had been presenting it. I'll watch tomorrow.

Tim Iredale hosts it, Nicola Crompton used to be out and about with the soapbox. There's only been one edition so far this season and YTV Political Editor Charlotte Milligan was with the soapbox.

I wonder whether Calendar's Entertainment Reporter Nicola Sands still hosts Jobfinder, although they might still be showing recordings from before she got married and started her new role.

Her Jobfinder shows are still on air, yes. But they are the same ones over and over again (though the new batch, from the 'new', soft set).

Much rejoicing in Hull. The Editor has resigned after a staff rebellion over his management style and programme content.

Staff now hoping the programme will improve - and actually have some local news in it, rather than endless 'celebrity guests' .

Perhaps some presentation changes too.

if this is true, I doubt it will make much difference.....the production and reporting staff may have 'just been following orders' (to an extent), but they have been putting this unutterable dross to air for the past umpteen months.

And the Duncan Norvell chat airing on the day when the far less-resourced ITV News/Calendar can unearth a genuine TV exclusive, with pictures, on Ian Huntley...... but in the screwed-up world of Look North journalists, this doesn't even warrant the shortest mention, and of far more import to viewers in the Hull region is clearly why the chase me man didn't end up presenting Blind Date (this was a discussion point during Peter's 5 minute simpering intreview) ..... ..how long have you got for the answer to that one

Linda Barker tomorrow folks...........

Do you mean Ex GMTV Editor Steve Punter has left the show?
