Levy Live! That's going to be the new name for the programme.

If Peter Levy leaves in the future sometime, they should still call it Levy Live even though he is not presenting it, as ITV have done with Taggart even though Taggart died 10 years or so ago.

How come Paul Hudson is in the Look North Hull studio? Usually he appears from the Leeds one, on that screen doesn't he?

katherine was unfortunately knocked out when her wall of videos of paul hudson/peter levy fell out on her when she took a vintage episode from 1999 when peter wore a yellow shirt. THATS why it's quiet.

It'll liven up again tommorow when Short List 2 is revealed on Look North Hull.

Well the other week I was reading a thread about Calendar on Digital Spy and suddenly someone posted something that was spelt correctly and was more than just one line of gibberish. The post went on about how Look North beats Calendar in the ratings. I then had a look at the side to see who posted it...

By the way its now one year since the new sound of today's West Yorkshire started, and BBC Radio Leeds started broadcasting from the new studios along with the new jingles, Trish Bertram voice overs, and the new play as much music as you can policy.

Even after letting go of most of the old presenters and most of the newstalk, they've still got Tim Crowther and Joe Maiden doing the Gardening hour at 9am on a Sunday. That surely must be in line for the chop soon.

Imaging and production still sounds really good.

In terms of programming, I can see what they're trying to do am just not convinced it happens all the time...

And am not sure Breakfast with Andrew and Julie works - they just don't seem to have clicked, and I'd bring back Jamie Coulson with the news if I were them... the number of times the bulletin's gone a bit wonky which for the main news sounds a bit odd at time.
