There is a text vote tonight as to whether we want a name change, I'm so bored of this already.
Latest suggestions tonight were Gateway Links, Peter Levy Show, Peter & Paul Show. Original.
There was a report about The Bishop of Lincoln whose suggestion is "Compass". Can see that going down well with Compass FM.

Shouldn't this have been done 2 weeks ago, prior to getting people suggesting these ridiculous names ? What a farce.

I saw that - rather funny actually. IIRC someone mentioned exactly the same thing happening on Tyne Tees not so long ago. Of course they've both got new kit at the moment - perhaps it's the same bit of equipment which is prone to crashing in this way.

Yes I saw that as well, it must have been on screen for about 2 minutes, all the way through the weather including the sting and the sponsorship!
There was a good one on Look North earlier this week where at 10, instead of showing an ident, they played a clip of the headline with the announcement over the top!

wow i think this studio looks awful! a few RP's, and a couple of glowing things, i think the previous one, despite the size of it, looked much better
