Just received my first Levy Letter today, personally from Peter.

It's very innovative, tells you what's coming up on the show tonight, so now I know when not to bother to watch.

For instance.........

"Got to rush I'm off to meet to Lulu. She's been a star for over four decades and I'm sure she'll be a hit with you when she's on the show tonight."

That sounds very exciting. With such content surely the show should now be renamed to "Peter and Co." - I think it works.

I'm glad he felt the need to point out who Lulu is. Personally I was preparing to see that small dog in the big pink crusher truck as seen on late night ITV1.

I hope you're not advocating the killing of small animals in garbage crushers SE. You can be very cruel sometimes.

Absolutely not, Lulu drives the truck, but that Jules is another story.

Anyway, I digress Dicky Turd on Sky News btw.

Do you think that means we could be in for a Sticky Dicky seconds down the line, recorded earlier? I hope so...it's been at least three days since he was last on so he's overdue. And he's got a new book out.

Well I knew the programme was pretty bad - but it's sunk to new lows tonight.

Two packages (both in the North of the patch, I add) and a few bits of copy and then it's on to the new name for Look North. ( I just knew SOMEONE would suggest "The Peter Levy Show" - no less someone who works on the show.")

I think asking the people is rediculous. The best they came up with was Lincoln Tonight, Look East and "naw leeeeave it as it is luuuuuv".

The programme is a parody of itself - but it's strangely watchable.

I wish I lived in that part of the country where this passes for entertainment!

Dickie Bird was on Look North tonight. Also Christa and Paul are back after their holiday meaning Liam Dutton has gone back to wherever he goes

At the end of the ITV Evening News, Calendar gave their summary of the main stories. Why was ''a family have ditched their holiday to Greece and gone to Skegness'' the main headline, as it was read out first? Surely to god there are some more newsier stories in my region...

No, it seems to be a very quiet news week this week in the region. Look North yesterday lead with some ridiculous story about magnetic trains linking Leeds to London is just one hour. Calendar have got a special 'Flying Cook' item this week to fill time.

Of course the Hull Look North is like this all year round!

Well the 300mph Maglev train story was also in at least one broadsheet... (They have one already in China linking an airport with a city I think...)

That's typical calendar news, the Skegness Target newspaper has more proper news in it than a month of calendars(!)

anyway that family must be mad, skegness is a terrible place anytime of year
